Back home thinking about ‘Die Fledermaus’ in Zurich last night. Some great singing, and the conducting was good. The production was erm…. colourful, but a bit jarring in places.

@Theatretiquette The Trockadero Ballet company (the Trocks) do a brilliant announcement in a fake Russian accent about turning phones off ‘or ve vill do it for you!’ All good humoured, but makes the point.

I like how the no singing/no phone announcements can be personalised for each show like Mean Girls saying it was a film twice.... what's your favourite pre show announcement?
