8 x 82 / 48 =13.667 That’s the equivalent number of games you would reduce the schedule by. Without breaking arena leases.

If you looking at tv and streaming ratings, the less the actual playing time for a televised game, the bigger the ratings.
Ie, the less time fans have to focus on a game, the more they enjoy watching it on tv

BREAKING: Multiple Chicago police sources tell me a Venezuelan migrant is in custody for questioning in relation to the heinous shooting death of 18-year-old Loyola University student Sheridan Gorman. CPD tells Fox that Gorman, from Westchester County NY, was walking with friends along Chicago's lake front around 1:30 AM Thursday when a "unknown male offender" opened fire at the group, hitting Gorman in the head. My understanding is that the Andy Dalton trade is not related to anything involving Tanner McKee. #Eagles always value the QB room more than most as evidenced by the Sam Howell trade last season. McKee is entering the final year of his rookie deal so there is added flexibility in case a significant offer develops.
