Last month, Saint John's Resort, a Pulte Family Charitable Foundation’s Humanitarian Hotel, awarded Loyola High School $20,860! The money was collected during St. John's Christmas Giving Tree campaign, in which guests and hotel team members made donations. Thank you to all!

Tonight, regional semifinals begin, with Loyola facing Arts & Technology Academy of Pontiac (ATAP). The game is set for 5:30 at Clawson High School. Last year, the Lions knocked the Bulldogs out of the playoffs, so the Bulldogs will have revenge on their minds.

Congratulations to Loyola senior Cody Champion for finishing second in the state in the individual bowling championship for Division 4! It was a historic year for Cody, completing the best finish in the history of the school! He also rolled the first 300 game in school history.

Freshman Devaughn Hunter portrayed activist Malcolm X at morning prayer Tuesday as part of school activities focused on Black History Month. Hunter delivered a presentation on Malcolm X's life and his role in American history. Well done, Devaughn!

Another big week ahead for Loyola athletics. Tuesday is Round two of the CHSL basketball playoffs. The Bulldogs face Jackson Lumen Christi at 5:30 p.m. at Marian High School. Saturday morning at 9 a.m., the bowling team competes in the league championship at Oak Lanes. Go 'Dawgs!

Yesterday, senior bowler Cody Champion made school history with Loyola's first ever 300 game! Cody rolled the gem at Astro Lanes on the way to beating Bishop Foley 21-9. Loyola moves to 4-3 on the season. It was Champion's first 300 game in competition. Congrats, Cody!
