Gameweek 1 and 102 points on the Bench Boost. Will we know if it's a success? Not yet, I've already done a post why, which I'll add below. 🛡️What a defence! Only Gabriel let me down, but we won't go down the why with that... Chilwell basically LW, Saliba was my first choice over Gabriel, was always going Varane for Man Utd, but OF COURSE got some luck he actually scored, but his aerial threat swayed me to him. 🤦‍♂️My only issue is I didn't back myself about Bruno Fernandes. First 45 minutes he was well behind Mount, and I said in pre-season Mount would affect him. 👍Mitoma and Saka doing what they were expected to, and will likely stay in most people's teams for the next 3 gameweeks at least. ❌Despite blanking, I am happy with Jackson and Eze. Both, especially Eze, would have got something on another day. Rashford-wise, he's still a hold. Had a quiet game but he's 9m and plays ST or LW for Man Utd, if he can be similar to last season he'll be a bargain. 🔁Transfer thoughts are Bruno out for maybe Diaby or Maddison, or Gabriel to Reece James. If it's Diaby in, or if Gabriel looks dropped, it'll be this week. If not, I'll likely hold. Good luck, and remember to play your own way. #FPL

@NathanAClark 100% agree. I thought the depth of Royal and Destiny when inverting was much better in allowing space in between the lines. Porro and Reggie too high at times limited our progression.

I think there's a case to be made. Richarlison providing threat in behind during second half really helped the midfield - probably the main reason for improved second half performance.

Home vs Away for the relevant players is a consideration as well. Interested for anyone else’s opinions, KDH is currently in the 🚌 team, should I make the switch?

Bournemouth currently sit last for Shots (10), Shots in the Box(7), xG(1.05) and Big Chances Created. Both goals scored against AVL were from AVL failing to clear effectively from set pieces and goals from second chances. I think Arsenal will deal with this threat a bit better.

Dewsbury-Hall vs Saliba xPts 3.45 vs xPts 4.02 Decision to bench one and start one of them has been tough. KDH home to Saints, Saliba away to Bournemouth. My thoughts so far…
