Can I say something about the state of US soccer and why it doesn't live up? Think people are overcomplicating it. The rest of the world only has soccer, our kids grow up wanting to be football, basketball, hockey and baseball players. Simple as that imo

I just don’t see how US soccer could ever compete with the top nations. Their youth eats, sleeps, and breathes soccer from birth. Soccer is embedded into the wider culture. That’s just not the case in the USA and it likely will never be with football and basketball.
