The Miami Marlins today selected left-handed pitcher Nate Payne out of Central Dauphin High School (Harrisburg, Pa.) with the 544th overall selection in the 2024 MLB First-Year Player Draft. Payne, 18, went 14-3 with a 1.48 ERA (28 ER/132.2 IP) in 29 games with Central Dauphin HS from 2021-24.
