Whenever I see stuff like this I always wonder… how and who would give a reporter this information? Who would possibly know that Lane Kiffin is working with Clemson and then turnaround and tell an Ole Miss reporter? That would be a very private affair I presume done coach to coach with almost no witness if it were to happen as alleged. So how would a reporter come to know it? Also why would Lane Kiffin admit he didn’t want a player and only signed him to hurt his former school? What does that even sound like out loud realistically? And why would he say it to someone who was friendly enough to leak it to a reporter? Not calling him a liar - just my questions reading this. I’m often left with many such questions reading things out of this camp. Also that bit at the end about his true colors… that’s not journalism or reporting…. You’re supposed to stick to the facts when reporting stuff like this. I think it reveals a level of emotion impacting his work.
