It depends on your age and level, but getting into 2–3 events a month in the summer/fall (mix of local and travel) is a solid schedule. • The “best” tournaments depend on the player — exposure events matter, but playing consistently matters too. • Competition levels vary widely from local events to major showcases with top D1 talent. • If you’re new to tournaments, focus on how you carry yourself: hustle, work hard, and be a great teammate. One of the most important parts of the college search process… actually walking the campus 👟🏫 On a recent family vacation, we made a stop at North Central College just outside Chicago, and it was a great reminder that not every great fit is a big-name school you see on TV. Most players and families start their search looking at the biggest logos, biggest conferences, and biggest programs. Nothing wrong with that… but sometimes you run into a hidden gem 💎 North Central is walking distance from downtown Naperville, which is honestly one of the best cities in the entire country. Great town, great campus, great environment. The kind of place that could completely change your college experience — and your life. Do your research. Visit different levels. Walk the campus. Talk to people.
