Shri Vikram Doraiswami commenced his assignment as Ambassador of India to China by paying floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Jintai Art Museum in Chaoyang Park today. ASSAM RIFLES ANNUAL DIRECTOR GENERALS’ CONCLAVE HELD AT NEW DELHI The Annual Director Generals’ Conclave of #AssamRifles was held at Manekshaw Centre on 08 March 2026. The conclave was chaired by Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General Assam Rifles and was attended by former Directors General and senior officers of the Force. The conclave provided an important platform for interaction between the present leadership and former Director Generals of the Force. Discussions focused on key operational aspects, organisational development and the evolving security environment in the North East and along the Indo-Myanmar border. The Director General expressed his appreciation for the invaluable contributions of former Directors General in shaping the legacy and professionalism of Assam Rifles.
