CASE STUDY: Cornerstone secured this complex high rise refurbishment project with social landlord Accent Housing in early 2022 via competitive tender. The contract focused on the predominantly external upgrade of two tower blocks – Stafford House and Alexander House.

Our race team won two trophies at the Caterham Seven UK Championships (amateur class) at #Snetterton Circuit this past weekend! We picked up 1st and 3rd place trophies. Here are some photos of the Cornerstone Caterham in all it’s glory!

Great news. Our U13 boys are through to the final of the Charles Harvey Cup after a thrilling win (6:1) against Thanet SFA. Goal scorers were Freddie (2), Callaum, Noah, Ethan & Isaac. Player of the Match was Roman. Congrats to all, and appreciation to @LtdCornerstone

We completed our element of the works in 2022, having worked on the nine blocks concurrently at the peak of the scheme. The EWI was applied to walls, balconies, walkways and external staircases across the three and four storeys buildings. (3/3)

We worked closely with our manufacturer partners to develop appropriate design details for each block; due to the nature of their construction, a significant amount of detailing was required to meet planning requirements. (2/3)

Cornerstone was appointed by main contractor United Living to complete insulation works to nine medium rise residential blocks for end client the Royal Borough of Greenwich in 2019. (1/3)

Cornerstone worked with our supplier partners to develop technically appropriate solutions for each property type. For the Swedish timber framed properties, this included stripping and strengthening the existing timber prior to the application of the EWI system. (2/3)

Cornerstone was appointed by Guildford Borough Council to deliver a programme of #externalwallinsulation to properties within their housing stock, as their budget allowed. Successful via an open tender process, we were appointed in early 2020 & commenced work in the Spring. (1/3)
