I’ve always bought iPhones and always from Apple direct or alternatively from Best Buy or Costco and I think once from Fry’s. So I’m trying to buy a brand new Samsung Fold 7 locally here and the price variation is outstanding. Up to a million naira. I’m hearing new terminologies like “Non Active” and “Repacked”. A man owned a farm (on lease) in Zaria, Kaduna state, Nigeria. He would go harvest his farm produce, & transport them to Lagos to sell. He had stores in Lagos. Two years after he started the business, he married a single mother. After two years of marriage, he decided that he would move to Zaria while his wife would be in charge of the stores in Lagos, and handle the logistics. He visited Lagos occasionally. His mother and family were against him marrying his wife, because they didn't want him to marry a single mother & they didn't think she was a good woman. For that reason, he ex-communicated his family, and stopped assisting his brother's children who he was helping to pay their school fees. His wife made him stop. His wife now fully in charge of the stores and logistics, took advantage of it. Whenever farm produce were being shipped to Lagos, she would divert half of the produce to Anambra state to sell. Each time he complained about not seeing enough money from his goods, the wife would tell him that it was because the goods were bad or they got perished. This continued for another 4 years, until the man found out. By that time, it was already too late. His wife had relocated to Canada with her ex (father of her first child). She now has 3 children with her ex, and abandoned the husband in Nigeria. His lease expired after a year, and he could not renew because he had gone bankrupt. He went from 100-0 after 6 years of marriage. He had no kids from the marrisge, as the wife intentionally didn't get pregnant, & deceiving him, making him think he was the problem. He tried to go into transport business with the little he had left, but it crashed after 3 months. He now works as a security in a church in Zaria. His family does not care about him, since he turned his back on them. And he cannot go to them for help either. End.
