AD's, when you preach about your culture, make sure to ask yourself for proof that it exists in your programs (hashtags and apple-polishers don't count). Be accountable to your coaches and players. Take responsibility for the culture you make. It all starts with you

@JimRomano Indeed, Jim! At any level, for any program-this should be the expectation, never the exception.

We get to compete tomorrow! Excited to put our spring growth to the test tomorrow against some great opponents. Head down to William Penn University (Oskaloosa) or tune in via Facebook Live to cheer us on! GO DUTCH!

@Coach_Koch_Lynx @ALHSVollleyball Good to hear! Though not on your field or in your gym, those situations do exist and are increasingly prevalent in our school sports, don't you think?

@Coach_Koch_Lynx @ALHSVollleyball How many coaches are good with kids missing off-season work outs and open gyms during the in-season of another sport or activity? Kids push through both because unspoken rules are still rules. #burnout

@Coach_Koch_Lynx @ALHSVollleyball For either scenario the parent/coach driven mantra seems to be "keep moving 24/7/365". Rec leagues and neighborhood games have been replaced by a year round churn of school and club sports, all with the promise of D1 glory. It worked here, but is it best practice?

@itmustbeaaron It is, however, this is the approach (considered legitimate, mind you) of way too many people right now. Way. Too. Many.
