This past weekend I locked in and decided to build a game from scratch... I love this daily geography quiz called MapTap and I had an idea for a sports version I know very little about software engineering, but I’m decent with Claude, so we got to work 18 hours later I had GeoSports and I shipped it immediately Day 1 we had 79 players. Suns season comes to a close at the hands of a sweep by the defending champion Thunder - as expected. Phoenix took a big step this year to return to credibility but will need to do a lot more to be a contender / simply put they need better players! I’ve covered this team for 30 years and last years team was my least favorite- that team was unlikable and unwatchable. Fans hated that team. This year was so much different - the Suns were enjoyable to watch, played hard and made the playoffs when most thought they’d be a bottom 3 team in the league. Worth a moment amongst the disappointment of being swept to appreciate the ride they gave us. This offseason will be important to reshape the roster and some tough decisions will need to be made if they want to improve on the successes of this year.
