@neuroamyo I am glad reviewer 1 and 2 were able to sway the panel. I just had SS with reviewers stating I switch between S1 and M1 and caused confusions, which sway the panel. But ctrl+F of my application showed neither “M1” or “motor” ever appeared in the 200 page application..

I am very excited to announce that I will be joining the Mechanical Engineering department at Stanford in 2024! My group will focus on designing new therapeutic devices with dynamic properties to make medical technologies more accessible, less invasive, and more effective.

Xing Chen et al report the long-term damage by 16 Utah arrays in the visual cortex of monkeys, glued together as one plate. We observe substantial cortical damage. Other electrode types will be needed (e.g. highly flexible ones) for a visual prosthesis. iopscience.iop.org/article/10.108…
