THREAD - Given weather conditions forecasted for today, Lubbock Fire Rescue will operate under Wind Level 2: All brush trucks and tankers will be staffed with 2 personnel each Open land or wildland fires respond with 1 Battalion Chief, 1 brush truck, 1 tanker, and 2 engines

Update 12:00PM 2 of 2 With the the gas being isolated, levels will have to diminish back out of UEL to Lower Explosive Limits (LEL) levels. Then LEL to normal atmospheric levels.

Update 12:00PM 1 of 2 ATMOS has advised they have the gas lines isolated. Concern at this time is that the concentration of gas in structures is at theUpper Explosive Limits (UEL).

Lubbock Fire Rescue is on scene of a 4 inch cut gas line near 18th Street and Toledo Avenue. Due to high readings, 17 homes have been evacuated. LP&L has also isolated power to homes from Quaker Avenue to Utica Avenue. This is anticipated be an extended incident.

ATMOS has isolated the hit line. All air readings for nearby structures are all clear. Crews will be returning to service shortly & 82nd will be opened back up.

Lubbock Fire Rescue is on scene of a cut gas line at 82nd and Utica Avenue. All traffic on 82nd is shut down from Utica Avenue to Toledo Avenue. ATMOS is on scene. This will be an extended incident .

Structure Fire in West Lubbock

Lubbock Fire Rescue’s Heavy Rescue Team responded to assess the structure. After evaluation, crews determined there was no loss of structural integrity to the residence - END

Preliminary information indicates the driver initially struck two vehicles that were parked along the street, causing all three vehicles to move toward and ultimately impact the corner of the residence.

THREAD | Lubbock Fire Rescue was dispatched to the 1500 block of East Tulane for a report of a vehicle into a building. Initial information from the caller indicated that multiple vehicles had struck a residence.
