Finally opened and went through the offer to purchase I received.
Let me just, the amount offered is not something I expected. In actual fact, I got two offers from them.
Offer 1 - this is a healthy amount of money, about double what was offered by the business yesterday with 50% paid and the rest within 90 days, however, they also want to pay me a monthly retainer when they need updates, new implementation or changes made. Not too impressed with this offer, considering what offer 2 is.
Offer 2 - full acquisition of the IP, includes 6 months of support at no additional payment, roll out at 2 branches as the test subjects to implement changes they want, integration between their 30 odd branches within 90 days of payment, a non-compete for the industry as well as working with them to roll out at businesses as they want to license it using their connections within the industry.
This offer is honestly the one that is shocking, because of the offer they put on the table.
Now to sit and go through everything another few times, make sure I'm happy with everything, so far, I am. Actually a little speechless.
As for right now, let's go back to sitting and building V1 for roll-out 🤞🏼
