four tactical fouls for Bologna in 10 minutes, just as Villa break through their press

@patrickendrick Inter at Bologna on the 24th of May could prove to be a huge match. Hoping my Rossoblu steal away the scudetto from Inter (again)

@JoshNorris @DV1874 what were they doing getting rid of Malen. Now I'm gonna have to watch him torch my Bologna in the round of 16 😭

Lots of people queueing up to give Serie A a good kicking today. On this year’s CL performance not undeserved. Of course it’s also true, and has been for a long time, that the league is far from perfect and has issues that need addressing. If this season’s CL performance leads to some much needed changes then that’ll be a good thing. However, the complete lack of nuance/perspective I see - particularly from those I suspect hardly ever watch a Serie A game, is daft. One poor season used as evidence the league is in a terrible decline - yet no mention of the previous 5 years, during which time Serie A has only been outperformed by the PL. Serie A has also produced brilliant titles races, with the league changing hands every year since 2020. Non-traditional ‘big’ clubs like Atalanta, Bologna and Como are adding to the league’s strength depth at a time a traditional power house like Juve is struggling. Roma x2, Fiorentina x2, Inter x2 and Atalanta have all been to European finals in recent years. This isn’t the performance of a league on its knees, far from it - yet a problem for Serie A is that, in many people’s eyes, particularly those who don’t watch it regularly, it’s ultimately judged on its 90s, 00s self, something it can’t live up to in the current financial environment. Set up to fail in that respect. Perspective doesn’t tend to get clicks in the same way embarrassment and decline do, but come on, let’s have a bit of balance

new tattoo commemorating the Brigata Stella Rossa who fought the nazis and fascists in the hills outside Bologna. Thanks to @James1940 for introducing me to such important history about a part of the world so near and dear to my heart. ❤️💙🐺🇮🇹

@SiavoushF his job probably rests upon coppa and europa results. early exits in both and he's likely gone.

Bologna has one win in their last twelve Serie A games. Lost the derby today on extra time, got slaughtered by Milan and lost the game before that after having a two goal lead. Also two red cards in their last three serie a games. Vincenzo Italiano in trouble

@IFTVofficial for me his job depends on what happens in Coppa and Europa. Early exits in both and he's probably gone. crazy how much things have changed in less than a year 😭

@patrickendrick agreed but as a Bologna fan, it was quite cathartic to see Genoa burned by a terrible VAR decision 🤣
