Sean Strickland's comments at his media day were as inflammatory as it gets. There have been very, very few fights in the UFC that have escalated to this level of animosity. I just hope the UFC is truly ready for something very bad to happen next week. What I mean by “very bad” is something happening that could cause this fight to be called off. These comments aren’t just antagonizing Khamzat Chimaev, but the entire Islamic community. This is creating a potentially very dangerous atmosphere heading into fight week.
