This year, a major Tanzanian company approached @SerengetiBytes to develop a campaign for one of their products. We built something we were confident about. Strategically grounded, creatively sharp, the kind of work that does not leave room for doubt. We presented it knowing the competition was real. We were right that they could not resist it. What we did not anticipate is that they would take our full campaign concept, change one word in the tagline, and run it without us. This is how it works sometimes. A small agency does the thinking. A large institution does the taking. No contract signed, no credit given, no conversation had. I am sharing this not as a complaint but as a record. @SerengetiBytes produced that work. We know it. They know it. And the industry should know that this is a practice that happens, that it costs small creative businesses real money and real opportunity, and that it deserves to be named. Protect your creative work before you share it. And choose your clients as carefully as you choose your ideas.
