Let's talk about draft. If draft does come out next week, I'm not convinced it will change much. In high rank lobbies, people might sweat and pick meta, but 90% of the playerbase will still just pick whatever they want. And there's no roles in Deadlock, so what if you get 4 people that want to play heroes that like farming? Right now, the game tries to limit that by having certain categories in matchmaking's backend like 'carries', 'frontliners' and 'supports', and guaranteeing that your team doesn't have too many of these hero types on the same team. But, if draft comes, how will they handle this? I know a lot of people want draft, but this will not be a simple change in a game with no defined roles. It'll be interesting to see what happens though.
