Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori brace yourselves, I’m storming in SOON to ignite your fire and remind you who STOOD FIRM with Baba in the darkest hours!

There is a political storm building in Homa Bay County.
UDA has refused to agree to ODM’s zoning request, and now the battle lines are clear. UDA is fronting Evans Kidero, while ODM is standing firmly behind Gladys Wanga. This is shaping up to be a direct, no-holds-barred contest.
On paper, this could be an easy win for Kidero. He has experience, name recognition, and now the backing of UDA. But politics is never that simple, especially in a region where ODM has deep roots and strong loyalty.
Now the big question: is zoning fair?
Zoning can help avoid splitting votes and reduce political fights within allied groups. It can also create unity and strategy, especially in competitive elections. But at the same time, it can feel unfair to voters. It denies people the chance to choose freely between strong candidates. It can also look like leaders are deciding for the people instead of letting the people decide for themselves.
In simple terms, zoning may be good for politicians, but not always good for democracy.
Homa Bay is now a true test. Will voters follow party lines, or will they choose the person they believe can deliver more?
This is no longer just politics. It’s a real contest of influence, loyalty, and leadership.
