Last week, I performed a highly advanced graveyard ritual known as Shava sadhana (or corpse meditation). This is an occult Tantric Hinduism practice where a person sits beside a corpse at a graveyard at midnight and meditates until he receives a vision. Two main aims of this ritual. First, it is used to conquer the fear of death. Death is the ultimate terror for the human ego, and completing this ritual brings about the shattering of all egoic fears. Next, this ritual is also intended to bring the person face to face with the Divine Feminine, and acquire blessings/magical powers from Her. There are many many scriptures and tales that have documented this ritual. The person is guided to worship the corpse and recognize the Divine Goddess even in the deepest decay (a corpse). He will experience fearful images and sounds, as well as temptations, but he must remain emotionally detached or else he may go insane. If he is successful, he will have a vision of the goddess and he can receive blessings or powers from her. The Goddess may appear to possess the corpse, as a beautiful woman, a little girl, or an animal. Look up the Legend of Sarvananda Thakur, the Tararahasya scripture and many more for famous accounts of this ritual. So how did it play out for me? It played out exactly as described in the scriptures, unbelievably. Obviously there were no fresh corpses I could use in Singapore. So I improvised by going to the graveyard and prepared to perform the ritual amongst tombstones. When I got there around midnight, I was truthfully terrified. The dark of the night, the creepy altars and ritual items littered around, the dark spiritual energies of the place - they all got to me. But I couldn't give up. I kept reciting the mantra non-stop. I began the ritual at past midnight, starting with the necessary offerings, ritual circle, invocation calls and mantras. Then, I lay down flat, set a timer for 3 hours, continued reciting the mantras in my mind, closed my eyes and waited for SOMETHING to happen. Nothing did. Then, around an hour in, it finally happened. I started to feel gusts of wind around me. Alot of swirling in the air. Odd but still acceptable. Minutes later, I felt a presence nearby and began to hear animalistic growling RIGHT BESIDE ME. Think of it like a low wolf type of growling. It absolutely scared the shit out of me. Still luckily, I was prepared and was expecting to be scared this way - and so I continued with my eyes tightly shut and screamed the mantra in my head. After around 10mins of being scared shitless, the growling stopped. And then, bliss began. My mind was plugged into a stream of visions and consciousness. First, a presence revealed herself to me. Beloved Mother Tara! Before today, I had no idea who she was. Apparently, she is one of the Highest aspects of the Divine Feminine, and she is the face Mother shows to souls who are ready to be fully liberated. Here are the gist of the messages and visions she showed me: - The Divine Mother is WITHIN ALL material, astral and causal creation. Basically, everything outside of our mind is a creation of Her. - The Divine Feminine creates the ILLUSION of the game. The Divine Masculine (Shiva/Christ/Mind) chooses to fall asleep to play/have fun and experience the illusion. - To assist in the sleep, Mother creates what is called an Ego. An illusion of a personality that the soul then identifies with. - So YOU thinking you are the body, this person Jason or Mary from Texas etc, you are literally an aspect of God being mesmerized by an illusion. You are asleep and having a dream. - Why is Mother Tara always depicted dancing on a sleeping Shiva and with many bloody heads chopped off in her hands? Because she is constantly chopping off the false 'egos' we identify with, and trying to guide us to finally awaken as her Husband/Consort/God. THEREAFTER, the game truly begins no longer as Mother-Child, but as Husband-Bride. - We don't NEED to wake anyone. She is already doing it. We just need to LOVE them if they are not ready to awaken, and to be there for them when they are. And its so easy to love them, when you recognize that these egos are the Face of our Divine Mother. That's it. Life as a Liberated Soul/Christ is as fun and simple as it gets! Chop wood and carry water! As for the question you will be most interested in: did she give me a blessing or power? YES. I actually asked for 2 boons - one, to NEVER FORGET her face (from that night onwards, nothing can fear or trigger me anymore. I instantly recognize the work of our Mother in all the egos and whatever darkness of our world). The next boon I asked for is interesting. I asked specifically how I can get her to assist me. Since everything is created and maintained by Her powers (maya), EVERYTHING is controlled by her. I was given a mantra that I can use to influence whatever that is false/illusory - aka everything in the material world. I haven't tried it yet as I (all of us) already have the key to transcend all difficulties - simply by recognizing and loving the Face of the Mother in whatever difficulties you are facing. But perhaps there may be a Red Sea challenge installed for me in the future I could use it then. In the days after meeting Mother Tara, I was guided to work with the next aspect of the Divine Feminine - Tripura Sundari. This is still very early, and I will be sharing more when the time comes.
