Check out our new platform for alkene aminofunctionalization! We found that dicationic adducts of alkenes and thianthrene undergo selective single substitution by phthalimide to provide a sulfonium salt that can be substituted with various nucleophiles. bit.ly/3nXg2iE

Our 1st paper of 2023 is out from @angew_chem! We developed a protocol for preparation of allylmagnesium reagents from 1,3-dienes via hydromagnesiation with MgH2. Congrats Yihang and his team @NtuChemistry! Happy to dedicate this paper to Prof Mukund Sibi for his 70th birthday!
