ive been reading the "No Limit Holdings" on @quipnetwork this morning and one line keeps sitting with me
"everyone is selling the shield. we wanted to buy the gun."
while the rest of crypto debates how to protect itself from quantum, this team is figuring out how to use quantum to make crypto better
the numbers force you to take it seriously:
> D-Wave's Advantage2 solves optimization in 3.5 seconds at 12.5 watts
> 1,024 H100 GPUs need 309x more energy for the same job and still don't match the solution quality
> D-Wave revenue grew 180% YoY in 2025. IonQ grew 222%. quantum VC funding hit $3.77B in just 9 months of 2025.
crypto's biggest revenue centers are literally optimization problems
> Chainlink generates $60M+ annualized partially from RNG that quantum can replace with physics-level randomness
> the entire MEV and solver economy is combinatorial optimization. annealers were built for this.
> ZK proof generation, hybrid mining pools, intent matching. all of it.
here's the part that actually clicked for me
$QUIP becomes the first floating spot price for quantum compute. classical GPU markets are still being lit up for the first time.
quantum is years behind that. there is no benchmark, no futures curve, no way to hedge.
we are at the CUDA moment for quantum. when Nvidia launched CUDA in 2007 it turned GPUs from graphics chips into the foundation of AI.
by the time AlexNet hit in 2012, the moat was built. nobody catching up.
most people will look at this in 2 years and call it obvious.
right now it's still mostly being ignored.
