The contract/cost are very high risk, we shouldn’t have had to spend this much to acquire an aging high cost wr. Just last year Pickens went for a 3rd, who is younger/better/cheaper

@716tax @Luckym4n_ Theres is low but ours is EXCESSIVELY high. I'm sure you see who's on the teams nearest to us on this list. There isn't any defending it. That said, obviously all we can do is move forward. Adding DJ was a nice start

@Luckym4n_ @716tax We kinda suck at draft WRs in general. (Maybe it was scheme who knows). I have zero confidence that if you told me we drafted a wr every year where we pick rounds 1-2 that we wouldn’t be in the exact same position. Panic signing “Palmer and Curt” when we realize the room sucks

@716tax @DBillsgal I was just pointing out the irony, not a dig at you. Not investing high draft capital rds 1-3 continually, leads to a mid and expensive room. Need to focus on premium positions more, it’s costing the team. Only drafted WR’s day1/2 since 2017

@DBillsgal @Luckym4n_ A lot of gms passed on Puka for 5 rounds. Their wr cap is low because they got incredibly lucky with Puka, how is that a hard point to comprehend.

@Luckym4n_ @716tax Every GM passed on Puka 4x.. I’m not the biggest fan of BB but to judge a GM based on not picking someone in the 5th round is insane.
If your 5th rounder turns out to be a star that’s amazing… but normally that’s a special teamer who hopefully contributes at some point

I like the DJ Moore trade. Screw it you are not getting a DJ Moore in Round 2. He is proven and a solid player. He is still under 30. Is he Justin Jefferson no, but he is not a drama queen. He just shows up and is reliable

@ChrisTrapasso @JeremyWGR This is something that’s consistently frustrated me. Attack these positions with volume! Good WR’s aren’t often available in free agency, need a consistent base of cheap WR’s. Bucc’s do this too despite having good WR’s, always invest

It’s not that I don’t like Brady, or that he isn’t innovative or on top of the trends in the league. It’s that I preferred someone outside the organization with different ideas, a different voice. On top of it looking very bad, simply promoting a guy off of Sean McDermott’s staff.

@adampensel Sean mcvay isn’t a defensive guy, that’s why McD is getting the heat. I think points per drive probably more useful, thinking about chiefs/bills ‘24 dv rd. Idk if it pans out but that’s what I would think more of as success/failure
