We've been reflecting on the impact of safe nurse-to-patient ratios at our summit today. Evidence shows there's an increased risk of harm associated with a registered nurse caring for more than 8 patients on adult inpatient wards. How many people are you caring for? Is it safe?

Whoever agreed that their nursing students could be used as part of a party political advertisement needs to have a long hard think about how this lands with the profession in the current climate
