Congrats to Mrs. Newman and Ms. Williams for being the Golden Apple Recipients for the month of Aug. These two ladies are very deserving of this award as they work hard every day, striving to make a difference in the lives of students, as well as helping out their colleagues.

Picture Day is Coming! A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be at LES on 9/8/2023 to photograph for Fall pictures. This photo will be your child's yearbook picture so unless otherwise noted, all students will have their picture taken this day for this reason.

Drum roll...we are SOLD OUT of yearbooks! Thank you to those that purchased this special book. Yearbooks will be distributed to students on May 17 at the yearbook signing party.

Kindergarten registration is taking place NOW! If you need assistance registering your new 4K or 5K student, you may come to LES’s front office, Feb. 23, from 9 AM - 1:00 PM and 3:00 - 6:00 PM. We will have computers for you to use, or you may turn in the required documentation.

This morning we had our "One Book, One School" reveal. We are super excited that our entire school will be reading Winter According to Humphrey over the next week and will enjoy a culminating activity on Tues., Dec. 13. The fun just continues! It is so wonderful being a COUNT!

We are thrilled to announce our new Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Ashley Benge, 1st Grade Teacher. This announcement came this morning during a school-wide assembly so she was surrounded by admin, colleagues, and almost 600! She certainly felt the love. Congrats, Mrs. Benge.

Kona Ice will now take place on Wed., Oct. 5 instead of Friday, Sept. 30 due to the weather. Thanks for your understanding.

Picture Day is tmrw. Envelopes went home already. These are prepaid so make sure to send money in the envelope in with your student in the morning or pay online. All students will have pictures made as this will serve as the yearbook picture. Wear your best smile, Counts!
