I need somebody to convince me that trading for Elias Pettersson makes sense. Very talented player, I get it. But cap hit, team drama and no guarantee he’ll put up 30, never mind his past playoff performances (I know he was battling a knee injury)…I’m skeptical. Make me believe!

This third pairing Hamonic/JBD stuff is just a distraction now. There’s a bigger issue at play here. The team has built a losing culture, and that can be a challenge to undo. Accountability also has to come from within the locker room, not just the coaching staff. There’s a lot on the line tonight for the Sens in Boston, and they know that. Support them.
