The restriction on editing generated recruits before they sign honestly makes no sense. Right now in Dynasty, we can’t edit recruits while they’re being recruited. But the second they sign with a school and appear on ANY roster, suddenly we can edit almost everything about them anyway. Name? Editable. Height and weight? Editable. Body type? Editable. Attributes? Editable. Equipment? Editable. The only things locked are the face and bio and those are already randomly generated to begin with. These aren’t real players, NIL athletes, or scanned likenesses. They’re fictional recruits made by the game. So what exactly changes after signing day? Nothing. It’s the same fake player with the same fake face and the same editing options. The only difference is the menu screen he’s sitting in. If the customization is already allowed after signing, then blocking it before signing isn’t protecting realism, NIL, or anything else.
