Boro always have to do it the hard way. All the talk shows need listeners and likes so are pushing the debate about giving Hull promotion. They all know there is zero logic in that and it would be manifestly unfair on all the other playoff contenders bar Southampton. Middlesbrough have done nothing wrong. Hull have had more time to prepare (not less as it being touted). If they wasted that time and didn’t consider all outcomes that’s on them. Boro for the win. But no hard feelings to Hull, let it be a great game.

@MattTrutweinSBE No it isn’t, I agree they need punishment for the cheating, just shouldn’t benefit Boro as it does, in sporting terms, they have been knocked out, and anyone who knows football can see it had little todo with a soy and more Boro couldn’t finish a number of chances.

@MattTrutweinSBE Is diving cheating? Let’s be honest, teams know everything about each other now, there is software to give you every bit of info, that wasn’t the difference between the two teams over two legs. Just use your eyes

@LukeDJacks I can understand that’s a grey area but ultimately they were cheated against in the semi-final so it’s not necessarily about being the beneficiary, more not being disadvantaged, given they earned a spot in the playoffs but lost to a team who admitted cheating
