When I started playing CS, dust 2 was the thing, as time has moved on mirage has become the go to for myself, my squad but also a lot of other people I’ve talked too over the years. It’s always fun to watch pros play it because everyone knows the strats and the maps core functions, which it’s the same for when I play it, and at that point it just comes down to who aims better. Your statement regarding the map and the games playercount does sound like a lot, but if I’m gonna be honest you’re not far off. Most people who play CS, play on weekends and the 1 off game during the week. Which mirage is something they know and are comfortable with, so that’s why it’s also most people’s go too map.

I’m gonna be honest, if Valve removes Mirage, that could seriously hurt CS. It’s not just another map, it’s the map. The one everyone learns first, the one that’s been part of every era, the perfect mix of simple and deep. It’s where casual and competitive players meet. Remove Mirage and you’re not just changing the map pool, you’re cutting out a core part of the games identity. For a lot of players, CS is Mirage.. You can update the game, sure.. but removing its foundation is a different story.

@LukeEatsTv For the average person collecting and meme armory crafts aside I think the Major stickers have fatigued most It seems like Valve are content on releasing these fake bordered stickers that just scrape down to a perfect border-less, making essentially every Major sticker the same

Can I ask what happened to the Sticker Crafting community? Ever since CS2 Released it has not felt or seemed the same. I don’t feel like anyone gets hyped to make new crafts or even collect anymore.
