I don’t want to do this publicly but I will if I have to do so. I have spoken to Amanda this morning and she has agreed the story is not utter nonsense. They deny they ever made a promise to Bruno that he could leave. That denial is in the article but it does not change the fact that this is what Bruno’s reps have claimed took place. One of the justifications for wanting a move. Mehrdad and Amanda deny that was ever promised. There is a lot more that could be said about things but I will leave it there out of respect #nufc

Arsenal were so misled by a £50m fee, they bid £55m for their 1st bid and £65m for their 2nd 🔥 Newcastle are accepting that £75-85m fee like the good boys they are

My thoughts on Bruno and Arsenal are as follows. Arsenal like him, Bruno likes them. But there is a big difference between liking a player at £50m and wanting that same player at almost double the price. I’m sure Arsenal will test the water some more. As we saw with Isak last summer there is no such thing as not for sale. I’ve reported where things are. I fully expect a counterclaim from player side to come in response to what I’ve written as they’ve been using the media to shape narrative . Hey there buddy. Arsenal haven’t made an offer. Numbers have been discussed with an intermediary and that’s it. A conversation above it what a club might be willing to pay and what a club would accept is not an offer or a bid. It’s a conversation which, as things stand, hasn’t led to any bid. That might come of course. We shall see. But he won’t be going to £50m or anything close to it. Hope that helps buddy
