Today was another High Five Friday! Some of our varsity players greeted Westview students this morning as they made their way into school for Westview Day!

These 13 guys had a late night last night playing a double header out of town and still got up early to welcome our elementary school students at Lincoln with a high five to start their days off! They are leaders on and off the field!

2PM CST: Current surface analysis reveals a strong lake breeze moving Southward from Lake Michigan across Northeast IL & Northwest IN this afternoon. This has resulted in a stunting of the warm front, in fact, it could be shunted even further south this afternoon. However, we are noticing a slowing trend of the lake breeze as it encounters more warm, unstable air. For most of the afternoon, the warm front will not move north much, if at all, but as the lake breeze continues to weaken, and WAA/LLJ strengthen towards the evening hours, the warm front should move back north some. If you're in southern parts of the Chicagoland metro or in Northwest Indiana, do NOT let your guard down for severe storms, and tornadoes tonight! Please remain weather aware and stay close to a source of reliable weather information tonight.
