Learning to build a real brand on X and monetise it. Documenting the journey. No fluff, just what’s working (and what isn’t). First Goal: £2k MRR. Follow along if you’re building too.

@LukeScalesX Motivation shows up when it wants to. Discipline shows up because you decided it would. Only one of those is a system.

Motivation is a trap. The days you feel motivated you’re going to show up. On the days you don’t? You show up anyway. Relying on motivation to build something will fail you every time. Discipline doesn’t care how you feel. That’s why it works.

@LukeScalesX @matt_gray_ I think the problem with systems is that they can become too static. Life changes. What I see is that I stay steady with planning my day and course-correct.

8 Steps to Unlock Your Productivity: 1. Write down 9 things you will get done today. 2. Rank them 1 through 9. 3. Turn off your phone. 4. Do #1 right now. 5. Then do #2. 6. When you're done #9 reward yourself. 7. Wake up and do it again. 8. And again.

@DTProcessX People remember how you make them feel not exactly what you say. Trust is built in the opinions no one else is willing to say.

@LukeScalesX Credibility and trust build a lasting brand. Sharing my personal journey, ideas, perspectives, and stands publicly is what creates it. That trust compounds, turning your brand into one people truly remember.

Everyone wants to build a personal brand. Nobody wants to be personal. They hide behind templates. Post other people's frameworks. Share advice they've never followed. The accounts that win are the ones willing to say what they actually think. Not what's safe. Not what gets easy likes. What's real.

@LukeScalesX @LeilaHormozi True, safety advice often comes from care, but it’s still shaped by someone else’s lived ceiling. The hard part is appreciating the intention without letting it define your limits.

@AmanGrowth Copy paste DM’s are the fastest way to get ignored. The switch from generic to authentic is where the compounding happens.

I didn’t make anything for 3 months No clients No money Just posting and trying It was frustrating Felt like nothing was working But looking back I was doing everything wrong Copy-paste dms Random content Waiting to feel “ready” Once i fixed that Things slowly changed Not overnight But enough to keep going Most people quit here Right before it starts clicking.

55 days of learning AI and building in public. Here’s what I’ve noticed: The more I show up, the clearer everything becomes. Not because I know more… But because I’m actually doing the work daily. Day 55.

@grant_seaver That’s the trade many aren’t willing to make. Being real risks rejection, templates feel safe as it’s someone else on the line.

@LukeScalesX Templates remove the risk of being wrong in public. That's why it's so hard to put them down. What's real can be rejected. What's borrowed can't.

@AtlasRPNav Exactly. There are too many creators who just copy others and play it too safe. If you don’t agree with an opinion then voice it. Our opinions are what make us unique and real.

@LukeScalesX Risky takes ftw! One of the best lessons I've learned is that you want to polarize people. You want to get people to reject or support what you're about fully, because then you can build a strong cohort.

@LukeScalesX True. In the beginning, it’s not about perfect posts, it’s about being seen. Perfect can come later. Share more, test what works, learn as you go. Once people start noticing you, then you refine the quality.

Set crazy goals. Take risks. Start a business. Launch a product. Fail. Repeat. Being average is the worst thing you can ever do in your life. Especially when you know you can be so much more. Reject the normal path.

I stopped using heavy sales tactics. Because everybody can’t be your client. Some will end up as: • Partners • Friends. • Fans • Haters. • Copycat. Good thing is you need all of them.
