@ofctimallen I have been Christian all my life, but I admit I have always struggled with the turn-the-cheek, forgive-my-enemies part. I can't find a way to shed the feeling that I am required to allow myself and my family to be victimized without repercussions.

When Erika Kirk spoke the words on the man who killed her husband: “That man… that young man… I forgive him.”  That moment deeply affected me.  I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad. I will say those words now as I type: “ I forgive the man who killed my father.” Peace be with you all.

If we want to stop political violence like what happened to Charlie Kirk, we have to be honest about the people who are celebrating it and the people who are financing it. My closing remarks on today's episode of the Charlie Kirk Show:
