@fightwriterone I don’t dislike 10-10 rounds at all; if there’s no clear winner then it ought to be even. Contrarily, a 10-10 when one was knocked down despite having occurred before, doesn’t seem right. Can they get their points back? Alas, the recipient of the KD must have won big.

My understanding is that a 10-8 round is automatic when a boxer scores a knockdown (this as per association of boxing commissioners in US). That might not seem fair but I am pretty sure that's how it is.

@savagesamparker Some good ones mentioned below, as was Joe v Kessler. Alas, this upcoming fight is massive and perhaps under appreciated.

@G__Chain Awesome times. Do you remember prior when it was said Cus D’Amato was going to train Wilt Chamberlain to fight Ali?

@SteveKim323 @boxingrich @dougiefischer You’d turn the TV on on a random Friday and see Rafael Ruelas brawling with Jorge Paez or Rolando Pascua shocking undefeated Chiquita Gonzalez, a few other big names for the main support, Tom Kelly and Ruben Castillo and an undercard full of Mexican fighters who came to fight.

@dustinrhodes Top 5 easily for comedic/charisma contribution, and probably top 35/45 in terms of ability. Congratulations on an excellent tenure.

Just a fun question for y'all nothing serious. In my 38 years of wrestling, where would you put me between one and 500. Do I even make the list? Don't worry I have thick skin if you guys don't think so that's fine.

@Iamskratch_ @DESTINYARRIVAL1 @HamedBoxing @SteveKim323 Boxing will always be very subjective, but I believe Ring magazine had Tim as number 3 or around there during possibly Sept or Oct of 2013. Anyhow, both Tim and Keith were very good and amongst the top of their classes

@DESTINYARRIVAL1 @HamedBoxing @SteveKim323 Tim Bradley was never considered a top 5 pound for pound he was mid at best Top rank didn’t have a lot of welterweights at that time form 2010-2014 why u think they kept PAC man fighting him

@LukeTrolio @Iamskratch_ @DESTINYARRIVAL1 @SteveKim323 Mayweather was still training and in shape. Floyd was only 32. Marquez had no business fighting at 147* in 2009 but Marquez called Floyd out and like you stated it was Floyd’s comeback

@Iamskratch_ @DESTINYARRIVAL1 @SteveKim323 Marquez KO Pacquiao at 147. Marquez was fighting at 147 for over 4 years. Didn’t Floyd fight Marquez at 147 when Marquez had one fight at 135 and zero fights at 140/147? At that time Bradley beat Marquez we know Marquez was ranked P4P Top 3. GTFOH

Sebastian Fundora in his last fight Puts no power behind his shots but his hand be so heavy and the volume behind the punches add up… especially tryna get past the 80’ reach tires an opponent out

@DanRafael1 Fantastic contributions to the sport, the both of you. To me, he, in particular, was indeed synonymous with the cigar. I share your sentiment on Finito.

When Bert passed, I wrote this column about him for ESPN, which I Googled today and re-read for the first time in many years. espn.com/blog/dan-rafae… #boxing

HOFer Bert Sugar, the legendary #boxing writer, author, personality and my good friend for years died 14 years ago today. Still miss him at the big fights. Years ago he sent me a signed copy of his book "Boxing's Greatest Fighters." Hilarious inscription. @MarkTaffetMedia
