They made always-online normal. They made unlimited internet necessary. Then slowly raised the price of everything. Ownership quietly became renting.

Would you bank with a bank that was all bitcoin? When you get paid, your paycheck is converted into bitcoin at the current value based on your local currency. When you spend money it converts that much bitcoin to the correct currency and makes the purchase?

Yes and no. Servers are often paid a lower rate with the intention that their tips make up the difference. However, this is supposed to be an incentive for the server to provide great service. The tip amount / % should be based on how well the service was. When I first started paying tips the recommended for basic service was 10%. Then it moved to 15% and then 18%. It seems now they want to move to 20%. If you don't provide good service I'll give you a low tip. If you provide great service I'll give you a better tip. But I'm beginning to jump on the eliminate tips bandwagon and have them stop asking. Because tips are now programmed automatically into so many registers that even employees paid normally, not a lower server wage, are asking for tips.

@1ssve Very interesting that this received so much response. Some very good points. Some I agree with and some I can see are good points I may still disagree with. Some people appear to be triggered and foam at the mouth.
