Not saying Searle believes (2), but certainly some not insignificant number of ppl will misinterpret this video to support (2)

He's right but there are TWO common errors that come out of this
(1) As Searle says, some ppl mistakenly take the truth of the premise to entail the false conclusion; but also (2) some ppl mistakenly take the falsity of the conclusion to mean that the premise is also false
