@speebus1 @MHFZZEnjoyer When you fly in on the wingdrake, it also watches you. If you don't let go, the wingdrake patrols the arena waiting for you to drop, and fatalis will sit there watching you, waiting for you to drop in and start the fight. (Even if you have the ghille mantle on.)

I would like this cus it would give us a inking of Fatalis being an animal and not some random dragon they decided to be the main antagonist of the series

@MHFZZEnjoyer @speebus1 What separates Fatalis from other monsters and shows its real and present malice is that it could absolutely have just done that attack again immediately. It's toying with you, all the way until its final phase where it realizes its life is actually in danger and starts trying.

@MHFZZEnjoyer @speebus1 Fatalis shows a degree of conscious choice that isn't there for many other monsters. In Iceborne during its story quest, when the cadet gets hit full bore by its breath weapon it could've finished him off at any time. It CHOSE not to. Chose to watch what we'd do. 1/2

@Rurikhan I threw together something similar to a lance speedrun build that got a ~8 minute time and did it myself in 15. Definitely my favorite fight in the game to Lance.

@Middayboshi I think a tactics MH game would be a great testbed for really messing with action economy. singular big monster with a bunch of turns for its different parts that you can break / damage to reduce or stop their turns, etc.

i just remembered when i very first started playing ffxiv i had this INSANE AMOUNT of anxiety about not recognizing job symbols. i didn't know which was which and for some reason it brought my so much anxiety i had to keep real life notes on them

okay I have another one that I know lazy people will disagree with 😋 They should remove how leveling SMN in FFIXV also levels your SCH and vice versa. I get that it saves time leveling, but I shouldn't have a job at max level that I have no fucking idea how to actually play.
