#WonderMan is exactly what Marvel Spotlight should've entailed from the very beginning. This is an impressive show that returns to the early days of The Multiverse Saga when they weren't afraid to experiment with their shows. Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest do a phenomenal job in creating a meta show about Hollywood within the MCU. It's a lot more than a show about acting, and the "Doorman Clause" really adds an interesting perspective to Simon's story and the MCU's world-building. Yahya Abdul Mateen II and Ben Kingsley are a match made in heaven, with both of them delivering nuanced and outstanding performances that help make the show feel more emotional and intimate compared to anything we've gotten before. Go into Wonder Man without expecting several cameos and setups for the future, and you're going to have an excellent time, enjoying a show that's focused on telling a character-driven story about Simon Williams and his journey to making it big while not letting his secret destroy him.

Ready Or Not: Here I Come does what you hope every sequel can do, and that’s come back bigger, bolder, bloodier and better. Despite the first movie having a definitive end, this sequel manages to match the same energy, expanding the lore with Grace’s sister faith and the addition of the High Council. The set pieces in this movie are hilarious, huge and create a total bloodbath. Samara Weaving keeps her crown as the scream queen, taking no shit from anyone while Kathryn Newton arrives as her estranged sister, delivering a dynamic that actually brings some emotion to the movie. The new cast additions, such as Sarah Michelle Geller, Maia Jae, Elijah Wood and the others, bring so much energy to the movie, but Shawn Hatosy is absolutely terrifying and comes across as the clear antagonist of this sequel. It might not be as tight as the first film or better, but it’s without a doubt on par, and that’s a success.
