Whenever Juyeon is saying delusional shit to Jiwook, I just think it's a confession actually. He genuinely thinks he's nice for locking Jiwook up so no one else can rape him because when Juyeon was young, he deluded himself that Jiwook will come "save" him from the others.

@Jilted_Love That makes a lot of sense. It's how he processed his trauma. He really couldn't accept this idea that Jiwook, despite all he did, didn't reciprocate any feelings for him. That their whole rl was a lie. And honestly, I do think Jiwook felt guilt. But that came later imo

@Jilted_Love That's a good point. I think he even mentioned there were times young Jiwook would let him off easier. Which might have been his delulu talking. From his perspective, he still feels like he is a better person for actually showing some care and affection when he received none.

He had to cling to something to survive through that. Being left behind in the bathroom for example, he thought Jiwook will eventually return for him. Returning to Jiwook in the uni bathroom (a parallel!) and caring for him was what Juyeon hoped Jiwook would have done for him.
