Growing up, I was never the chosen friend. It hurt so bad. Now that I'm older, I experienced being the chosen friend only to have them all turn on me over the absolute most ridiculous lie. I learned to not rely on others to feel important and loved. Loving yourself first is the most important thing you can do. I know it's hard and takes time, but once you do, things like this won't hurt as much. Because one day, you'll find people that will think of you first.
