@DragonRoIlZ I’ve been thinking about this too. So many characters talk in the lobby startup about how they’re going to get drinks or relax once the ritual is over. But I doubt most of them truly understand how much the world will change once everything is settled. Themselves included.

what if deadlock was like ror2 where the occultists start out like normal people with extraordinary powers, but by the end of the ritual they're all hopped up on soul, patron boons, and items that make them nothing like how they were before and they can never go back
