I’ve probably felt failure more times than I’ve ever felt success. I don’t really feel like I fit in a niche, and my irl obligations leave me with little energy to be creative. I know I’m not the only one, but it can really sting.

@DreamlikeMelody I feel this exactly, I struggle to learn skill that would help.. but can't really afford to invest in others doing it for me, so I sit and languish instead.. Feeling like an ant in a world of giants.

All the time I always feel as if I never put in enough effort Every year, every month, every day I watch newer VTubers surpass me and I wonder to myself if it’s because I just didn’t get lucky, I just lack the personality for it, or because I just don’t do enough Editing, mixing, learning how to draw, etc… any sort of skill would help instead of having to rely on someone else’s service, but I just can’t bring myself to commit to any of those myself

Sorry for posting this so late at night (I was so sleepy and hungry after stream I chugged a protein shake and conked out for 2 hours LOL), but I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave me your time of day to immerse yourselves in the story I wanted to tell this week🥹💖 As a multimedia creator, I feel so fulfilled extending all of my creative tendrils into every aspect of the new model and debut - from design, to scripting, to drawing, to singing, to tuning, to voiceacting, and finally presenting it all to you in a cohesive and immersive way during stream. Just because I worked hard on things doesn't mean I'm entitled an audience - so I also want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel spoiled downright rotten this past week with all of your engagement, reactions, comments, theorycrafting, speculations, and even fanart!!🥺Posting a 3-minute long animatic on a platform as ill-optimized for long-form 16:9 content as Twitter was a strategically abysmal move, and yet so many people had given it a chance and tuned in despite it all. Thank you for always trusting me with your time and attention, it's been 5 years and I still find it wholly incomprehensible how many people want to see the things I make. I am an artist through and through: whether or not I have an audience would not change the fact that I'd be neck deep in making the art & music I want, but having you has made me reach farther, leap higher, and strut with confidence. I am so deeply in love with being a content creator, and I know that's all thanks to you, kittens💖
