The justice we want: 1) Peace in Palestine. An end to the ongoing genocide. 2) Better funding for the NHS - particularly in the poorest areas. Implement Marmot Review recommendations. 3) Invest to end inequities and discrimination. Stamp out Islamophobia endemic in society.

@Its_Jabo Dude if graphics and how aesthetic a game is not the same as gameplay. Facts none of your choices in spider man impact the stories, nor can you really play different builds. There isn’t as much replay value as BG3 offers. Just say you don’t like turn based game.

It write this because there is so much talk about industry and platforms and hardware and competition what have you, whereas really, most game developers really just want their players to have a good time. And when you achieve that as a developer, it makes you happy.

@Thekingjames68 @toocold33 @FadedHub At least in my school I’ve never seen someone refuse to give something they were cheating with to the teacher when caught. They at least had enough dignity not to dig a bigger whole for themselves. And had basic respect for others.

Most times here asking a student is all it takes. When that doesn’t work having a teacher wrestle with them like police is not the answer for a number of reasons.

These poor people are literally expected to be assaulted, most live below the poverty line and yet people get confused why no one wants to be a teacher. Very sad for the kids

From what I’ve seen about this particular video and the articles about it, it doesn’t say anything about teacher not being allowed to confiscate phones. Im European and we clearly have very different rules if you think assault is ok

@LunarObsession @toocold33 @FadedHub Expecting teachers to do things that are expressly prohibited in school board guidelines and in union contracts puts teachers in danger. Teachers are not police. Teachers ask. It a student does not comply they are invited to leave. If the refuse we call security or then police.

If the student refuses they are to tell the student to go to the office, get and administrator, security guard or police. If a student puts a phone down their pants do you believe a teacher has the legal authority to retrieve it?

@Thekingjames68 @toocold33 @FadedHub You are literally defending assault. She was in no danger and if the teacher gave her phone back at the end of the day its not stealing. He has authorization from the parents to confiscate her phone. Every article I’ve read said as much.

@LunarObsession @toocold33 @FadedHub Teachers can ask or demand, but unlike a police officer or security guard, if a student refuses, the teachers should not physically engage the student in an attempt to confiscate the contraband.
