❤️🐘Tom Tiffany & Will Martin have the WIGOP Endorsement! 🎉 Now is the time for Wisconsin Republicans to unite behind proven, principled leaders who will put families and taxpayers first. The Clear Contrast: • Hong, Barnes, Rodriguez, and the socialist Democrats promise higher taxes, heavier regulations, and more government control—policies that drive up costs for working families, stifle job growth, and weaken our communities. • Tiffany, Martin, and down ballot Republicans offer a better path: practical solutions focused on results, not just rhetoric. What Republicans Are Fighting For: • Cut taxes—including eliminating state income taxes on tips and overtime pay—so hardworking Wisconsinites keep more of what they earn. • Reduce government waste and over-regulation to lower costs for families and make it easier for small businesses to thrive. • Protect election integrity to ensure every legal vote counts and restore trust in our democracy. • Grow our economy by championing opportunity, supporting workforce development, and delivering real prosperity across rural and urban Wisconsin. Unity Delivers Wins. In 2022: • 1,268,535 voted for Tim Michels → LOSS • 1,337,185 voted for Ron Johnson → WIN Those 68,650 votes mean the difference between victory and defeat. It shows what a united Republican Party can achieve—and why every single vote matters. Our party is united, energized, and fully prepared to win in November and build a safer, more affordable, and more prosperous Wisconsin for every family. Let’s get it done together. ✅ Volunteer ✅ Donate ✅ Vote on Aug. 11 and Nov. 3 WISCONSIN FIRST! 🦡🧀🍻🇺🇸 #VoteRed #Wisconsin #TomTiffany #RedWave #Midterms #MAGA

@Mikeggibbs “Middle Power” carney’s past comments on a new order said it must occur in Europe. USMCA coming up for renewal in July. Canada is part of Oceana, trade agreements with China are specious at best, 32 nation trade quotas in the EU make a reliance there weak

With Keir Starmer's resignation seemingly imminent, Canada is looking strong. We have a Prime Minister who's leading a middle power resistance movement against Trump. Leading a government that is, for now, enjoying historic, overwhelming support across Canada. Canadians are more united than ever. Keir Starmer wasn't the right leader for this moment. Mark Carney and Canadians, are.

SENATOR JOHN KENNEDY: "It strikes me as breathtakingly ironic that that the people who are screaming so loudly about President Trump's decision to audit federal spending, are the very same people who wanted to hire 80,000 new IRS agents with guns to audit the American people."

That’s really interesting. Why do women in the US carry almost twice as much student debt as men? Do they study less useful stuff or is it something else?

As it becomes increasingly clear that the mess in the Middle East will continue through to the midterms, I can't help but wonder when the Republican Congress will step in -- to save their own jobs.

@SteveAustinWI 13% decline between now and 2031. So the question that falls in our laps is, why with shrinking students and projected population decline should budgets increase more than inflation? And then ask, are our results what we would expect from our schools?

@marcportermagee @AlecMacGillis It is going to be far more than this, by the way. For Wisconsin, NCES predicted -4.6% by September 2031. It was -3.8% by September 2025! Wisconsin is predicting -12.5% by September 2031, almost triple NCES.

I don’t think people have fully absorbed just how big the declines in student enrollment are going to be. Eight states are projected to experience DOUBLE DIGIT declines by 2031.

@WBalshin @JustinWolfers Trudeau was a virtue signaling fop. The USMCA had a menu of tariffs on US products. Carney has said the new international order will come from Europe. Canadian leaders have been confused about whether they are European or western hemisphere residents.

Two things can be true at once: tariffs can be bad economics and bad law. Taxing imports raises costs for Americans; doing it without proper authority also trashes the rules.

Missed you, glad your back, please explain growth and profit of companies during earnings week, muted impact of tariffs, new belief in a 4 point GDP growth, and productivity gains in your doom economic prognostications.
Justin Wolfers@JustinWolfers

Debt by itself is a lousy guide. A $500,000 mortgage can be manageable or terrifying depending on salary, rates, and future earnings. Same with countries: the real question isn’t “how much debt?” but “can they carry it?”
