A healthy competition is what keeps both games improving and trying to outdo eachother.
Look at what happens to some companies that have a monopoly and drive up prices without caring about quality or customer service…

Playing WoW Midnight, makes me realize how much WoW needs FFXIV to succeed and how much FFXIV needs WoW to succeed. Both games providing improvements so that we the players have tons of fun. This is why tribalism is BS

Try to avoid circle of artists that tell eachother what they want to hear, not what they need to hear.
And try to remain respectful, no matter how angry you might get.

@Jack_Cobalt_fur Try to set boundaries when commissioning as well, go for only artists that advertise timeframes for completion, or set one yourself. Try using paypal only or a service where worst case you can hold them accountable.
Avoid emergency coms, unless you worked with them before.

Why can't the people I commission just do the fucking art I'm so sick of waiting months and months and months for commissions. It's Infuriating as much as it is disappointing because some of them I looked forward to commissioning again but after this wait, NEVER again

@Jack_Cobalt_fur Its a process of trial and error on both sides. But while for me waiting longer then expected is sometimes annoying, its more annoying when artist go silent or give timeframes or deadlines and just not stick to it.
I rather know why you cant make it then be given nothing at all.
