@JuviraArachne Hm I don't multistream myself, but I know you are responsible for everything that happens on your stream.
You have YouTube chat merged with Twitch chat displayed on your actual stream, so that needs to be moderated.
If something really foul is said, it could get you in trouble.

I've noticed it gets unruly QUICKLY over there and was wondering if i should get a mod for it.. but some people tell me to just not care about the youtube chat?

Went for a nap before work.
Dreamed one of my stream mods got hacked.
Dreamed I watched helplessly as all my followers got banned and couldn't stop/undo it.
I could hear all the people I knew the voice of finding out and wondering what they did wrong.

@HimeMysti I actually bought Windows 11 when I built my new computer. When I tried to transfer over simple saved files, my freshly assembled computer blue screened. If I didn't still have the place I was transferring it from, I would have lost everything.
So I bought Windows 10 again~🩵😂

Since bits have a specific exchange rate to a streamer, it has a monetary value to a streamer. 100 bits = 1 USD.
If Twitch were to be considered to be allowing the purchase of goods and services with bits, it would be classified as a digital currency.
They don't want that, it comes with a slew of legal issues.
By enforcing rules on what they can and cannot be used in exchange for, it gives them legal defense if they ever end up being the subject of legal scrutiny or investigation. They may already be under scrutiny, or audit, and this could be a response to that.

What the freak do you mean bits are not a currency or monetary instrument? When you have to buy bits to use them, they are literally a penny per bit, and the content creator gets a penny per bit in their payout that they can spend however they want.
Whose idea was this, and why do they still have a job?
I just know some thousand-CCV creator had to have been abusing the bits system or something for this to happen so suddenly...

Twitch has updated the Bits Acceptable Use policy for the first time since 2018. Key changes: - Bits can now ONLY be used for things on Twitch. (An explicit ban on using Bits for anything off-platform or of monetary value, ie. Movie Night, Merch, etc.) - Much stricter enforcement, including a new "forfeiture clause" which essentially says they can take your Bits (no compensation) for any violation. - Officially kills the "Ads for Bits" product (leftover language; that product has been dead for years).

This is also a fair perspective. If no harm os being done, nothing is plaigarized, no one is scammed, and there isnt a massive data center, it honestly should be fine.

And we only dislike generative AI that is trained on stolen work. Lots of studios and creators have been using generative AI for years that was trained on their own data and it's literally fine.

unpopular opinion: Most people don’t actually want a healthy relationship. They want someone who tolerates their unhealthy habits without accountability. A real one requires communication, honesty, consistency, self-awareness, emotional regulation and apologizing without ego. Many simply aren’t ready for that responsibility yet.

Fun lil story! My Great Uncle was invited to a wedding, and was discussing getting a dinner time seat assigned for him to be close to the washrooms with the wedding planner. He is... a very heavy-set man, and did not want to walk far.
The planner argued that there was no assigned seating, there was no signage available for them to reserve with. My Uncle made, as he was later embarrassed to admit, quite a scene. The organizer conceded and told him he would find a way to reserve the seat.
Come time for the reception he walked straight to the seat he wanted, discovering the seat left empty, but to his annoyance that there was no reserved sign. As he approached he started to complain to his wife that anyone could have taken the seat, but stopped mid-sentence... Discovering 2 bottles, of that wine neatly placed on it's cushion.
