Optimal 5-man start from middle position, if you swap out Henry for Bowers.

@JackMiller02 @NEZtakes Part of the reason they are usually bad picks is that guys like Mike Washington and Marshawn Lloyd are also competing for RB2. It’s only fantasy players who assume they are locks for a depth chart spot because of draft capital.

@NEZtakes The thing is avoiding zeroes is pretty important, and the RBs going in R18 are (with the exception of Mike Washington, who was a bad prospect, doesn’t catch, and is on a bad team) mostly guys competing for RB2. If market was certain they were RB2, they wouldn’t go in R18.

Nothing against Kaelon Black. But intuitively feels bad to me taking someone like Black who's a stone zero barring injury over WRs like Kupp, Pat Bryant, etc. who will actually play. So I tested it, and it turns out R18 WRs have had higher Advance Rates than RBs 6 straight years.

Agree with this. Especially in leagues that aren't super deep (to avoid multi-year roster cloggers). We'll probably get answers (good or bad) on Tre' Harris, Jack Bech, Kyle Williams, etc., before we get them on the rookie Day 3 picks.
Dynasty Onion@DynastyOnion

One of the mistakes you might be making in dynasty is valuing rookie day 3 WRs too highly while ignoring day 2 WRs who didn't hit right away. There's far more Chris Godwin, Davante Adams, Nico Collins types out there than there are Puka Nacua types

This superflex team with Jayden Higgins as WR7 definitely needed Stribling more than QB or RB help, right?

Sitting on a Purdy-Evans stack and Stribling gets sniped one pick before me. But guess who was still available? San Francisco's No. 2 receiver, Deebo Samuel.

One thing that seemed to be missed by the fantasy community: Klint Kubiak is far less enthusiastic than the front office about Kirk Cousins. I do believe Cousins was signed to start for at least a month, but not at Kubiak's behest (possibly at Brady's). Think Brady will ultimately back off rather than initiating a power struggle that annoys his new coach and franchise QB. Now just need Fernando Mendoza to do his part and have a competent summer.

Not saying Jordan will contribute, but Texans went from horrific TE depth in 2025 to what should be strong depth in 2026. Expect to see more 12/13 personnel, after last year's team finished Top 5 in use of both 3+ WR and 6+ OL formations. The 2025 Texans had the fewest cumulative TE/FB snaps in the league, but that didn't really matter for fantasy because the WR and RB snaps were divided between so many guys. The hope this year is more rotating at TE while the opposite happens at RB/WR (Collins, Higgins, Montgomery).

#Texans tight end Brevin Jordan has made a strong comeback from torn patellar tendon suffered last year, one year after a torn ACL. Fixture in weight room. Running sharp routes at camp @KPRC2
