@discord I lost access to my account after removing 2FA using the intended method. The login screen keeps asking me for a 2FA code even if I removed it (and I don't have access to the auth anymore) Support has been ignoring me for 10+ days. I really don't want to lose my account

@discord_support As I've pointed out, I am unable to use backup codes even if I DO have them as the option is not showing on the login screen. It still asks me to use 2FA, but having removed 2FA the codes are not usable. The login thinks I have 2FA but at the same time it doesn't

I'm sorry you're experiencing these account troubles. Are you logged in on another device? If so, and you have access to your account's password, you can disable 2FA using the View Backup Codes option in User Settings. The 8-digit codes there can be used instead of the regular 6-digit authentication code. Alternatively, you can also check to see if you have these codes saved on your computer by searching for: discord_backup_codes.txt More info on account recovery steps here: support.discord.com/hc/en-us/artic…
